AS YOU WAVE ME GOODBYE
A Multimedia performance of music, drama and emotion like you’ve never experienced before. The faces and voices of veterans, wives, and nurses will take you on a roller coaster of emotion with stories of survival, frailty, resilience and humour.
Astounding new music by Lochlan Brown delivered with finesse and dynamism by Subiaco’s very own ‘Vocal Ensemble Voiceworks’, joined by guest artists Nola Formentin & Ian Toyne, veterans, serving men and women and members of our local community.
Following last year’s rapturous response to part one of this extraordinary event, Voiceworks will present the entire three-part show, complete with stunning video projections of our serving men and women in a dramatic conclusion to this performance to coincide with the Centenary of the ANZAC Landing at Gallipoli.
The whole production was taped for a documentary to be aired on national television.
A season of five performances was presented to the Perth community, featuring 30 professional and community vocalists, actors and musicians, under the direction of Maggie Wilde West and supported by a crew of sound & lighting technicians, video projectionists, costume designers, and makeup artists.
