Carols In The Park (VoiceworksPLUS)

Once again VoiceworksPLUS will be inviting you to join them to sing and celebrate Christmas, for their end of year show, “Carols in the Park” at Lake Jualbup.

It’s a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and to meet all your neighbours, so dig out the folding chairs, dust the rust off your vocal chords and come along to join in the fun.

Where: Lake Jualbup Rotunda, Shenton Park
When: Wednesday 5th December, 6-7pm
Who:  Everyone including kids and dogs
What:  BYO picnic and folding chairs – it would be lovely if you could bring some nibbles to share with others as well
Tickets: None, just turn up.  The event is free but if you would like to make a donation to keeping our VoiceworksPLUS programs running we’d be delighted. Donations can be made online to our crowdfunding site at:
Or you can put something in Santa’s hat at the event.

See you there!

Our professionally directed and produced Vocal Ensemble Voiceworks documentary, “The Making of As You Wave Me Goodbye” tells the story of how through the creation of a unique multi media performance, a Subiaco community choir brought their community together to commemorate the centenary of ANZAC and to honour the serving men and women from the City of Subiaco and surrounding local areas.
Documentary running time is 32 minutes. Also included as extras on the DVD,  the full performance of the choir’s commissioned original anthem, “For a Weeping World”
and full versions of the veterans interviews upon which the performance was based.
