Agelink Theatre, together with Vocal Ensemble Voiceworks and the King Edward Memorial Hospital Centenary Committee invite you to a Musical Theatre Production to celebrate 100 years of “King Eddy’s” assisting mothers and babies.
Wonderful and engaging stories and songs that tell of the birth of a hospital during World War 1 and its history of caring for mums and bubs over subsequent decades, from the little girl who would have preferred a new bike rather than a new brother, to Matron Walsh who was stork to more than 60,000 babies.
Funny, poignant and uplifting, these stories remind us of the passion and dedication of the many special people in an institution so dear to the hearts of West Australians.
Two performances only on Sat Aug 6th at Subiaco Arts Centre.
